Who can become a member
We accept membership applications from undergraduate and graduate students, independent researchers, and early- to late-career academics and practitioners. Complete your online profile with your name, affiliation, and research interests. Most importantly, let us know what motivated you to join.
Our network
Your member profile will become part of our networking database, an international directory designed to connect fellow researchers interested in questions about wild animal welfare. Once your application approved, you will gain exclusive access to other members' contact information and networking status as resources for job hunting, fostering collaborations, and much more.
Members have access to the following services:
-
Connect with fellow wild animal welfare researchers worldwide through our member directory.
-
As a member, you also have the option to join our Wild Animal Welfare listserv, a forum for members of the Wild Animal Initiative Research Community to share research, funding, and career opportunities related to advancing the study of wild animal welfare. In the community application, select the option to join the listserv to make sure you don’t miss any exciting opportunities!
