Overview
Wild Animal Initiative’ mission is to understand what life is like for wild animals and identify ways to make life better for them. We believe the most effective way to do this is by supporting the growing scientific field of wild animal welfare research.
Our work consists of three programs:
Research: Investigating key questions in wild animal welfare science and producing research papers for academic journals.
Services: Supporting the many professional needs of researchers pursuing wild animal welfare research.
Grants: Funding academic projects that show promise of rapidly accelerating progress in the field of wild animal welfare research.
